Chocolate (A Charlie Waterman Drabble)
by Natasha Duncan-Drake
Alexander looked at the chocolate bar Charlie had brought back after his last trip home. It was obnoxiously purple and there on the front was the most ridiculous caricature he had ever seen. If the white skin and overly long fangs weren’t enough, the cape was simply hideous. No vampire would be seen in such a monstrosity.
The whole thing was simply insulting and he seriously considered just throwing it back at Charlie.
“It’s Halloween,” Charlie said with a huge grin. “Loads of people love vampires at home.”
Alexander paused, after all, it was Charlie and he did like chocolate.

The Chronicles of Charlie Waterman
The Chronicles of Charlie Waterman is a set of YA style novels designed to be exciting, light reads for a crossover audience. They are filled with magic, adventure and a well developed sense of fun. Charlie is an ordinary 18 year old whose whole life is turned upside down when he is attacked by a two inch cat figurine. Magic was not in his plans, but he soon learns reality is not quite as straightforward as he thought.
