Darkness and Light must do battle!

Two months have passed since Tom confronted his vampire father, Raxos, in the quiet Cornish village of Coombedown. Now, he's a patient at Unit 43b, a mysterious branch of His Majesty’s Government tasked with investigating the unusual. Housed in Penbride Manor, a facility labelled a “place of safety,” Tom is under the watchful eye of elite soldiers and civilian experts, all focused on unravelling the dark secrets of Coombedown, and the deadly legacy his father left behind.

By day, Tom is human; by night, he’s something else entirely. As scientists and doctors study the changes wrought by his father’s blood, Tom finds himself trapped between two worlds, neither of which he fully understands. He’s desperate for answers, yet he can’t shake the feeling that the very forces controlling his new life may have their own agenda.

Just as Tom settles into a fragile routine, a new threat emerges, one that could shatter his tenuous sense of normalcy. As the new school year begins for the other vampire children, Tom dares to hope for a future beyond the horrors of Coombedown. Yet, the arrival of a mysterious newcomer challenges everything he thought he knew about his world - and himself.

Unsure of his own powers and still struggling to navigate the changes to his body and mind, Tom must confront an enemy more dangerous even than Raxos. A hidden force is working in the shadows, manipulating events, and Tom must find the strength to fight back before everything he has left is destroyed.

Sequel to “Night Blood”, “Witch Blood” is the gripping second book in The Night Blood Chronicles, a young adult paranormal series filled with mystery, dark magic, and dangerous secrets

About the Book

Darkness and Light must do Battle.

It has been almost two months since Tom faced his vampire father, Raxos, in the little Cornish village of Coombedown. He has become a patient of Unit 43b, the designation given to Penbride Manor by an unnamed branch of His Majesty’s Government dealing in the strange. The manor has been designated a ‘place of safety’, run by a team of elite soldiers and their civilian support staff, all now focused on understanding Coombedown and its nightmare history. Tom, human during the day, vampire in the dark, is the centre of their attention as the doctors and scientists analyse the changes that his father began in him.

Uncertain about what he is, Tom wants answers as much as the mysterious powers that run his new life. He has found a safe routine in the chaos that Raxos left. Yet things are changing again. With a new school year starting for the other vampire children, Tom is glad when he watches their world expanding beyond the horrors of Coombedown once more, but a new arrival threatens the fragile normal of his own life.

Unsure of his own abilities: only just learning how to cope with the alterations to his body and mind, Tom must face his own fears and find the strength in himself to combat a new enemy even more dangerous than his father, a new adversary manipulating things behind the scenes, who could destroy everything he has left.

This is the second book in the Night Blood Chronicles.

The Night Blood Chronicles
